.
In form of two equations it is
x + y = 125 (1) (milliliters; total volume)
0.21x + 0.36y = 0.33*125 (2) (x= volume of the drink A; y = volume of the drink B).
Solve by any method.
or in form of ONE equation
0.21x + 0.36*(125-x) = 0.33*125.
Simplify and solve this single equation for single unknown.
0.21x + 0.36*125 - 0.36x = 0.33*125
-0.15x = 0.33*125 - 0.36*125
-0.15x = -0.03*125 ====> x = = 25.
Answer. 25 mL of the drink A should be mixed with (125-25) = 100 mL of the drink B.
