Question 1053563: I have 256 ounces of meat, which is supposed to equal 79% and I need to add 21% more of vegetables. How many ounces of vegetables would I need to add to equal 100%. I would be so grateful for this answer. I am having a brain freeze and need to make this food for my dog.

In terms of ratios, then 79 is to 256 as 21 is to n. Then we have:
79/256=21/n
79n=5376
n=68.05
You, and your dog, need 68.05 ounces of vegetables to go with your meat. ☺☺☺☺
