How much of a 10% alcohol solution should be added to 2 cups of a 20% alcohol solution to make a 12% solution?

alc + alc = alc
0.10x + 0.20*2 = 0.12(x+2)
---------
10x + 20*2 = 12x + 12*2
-------
2x = 8*2
x = 8 cups (amt. of 10% needed)
