The number properties work almost the same and will work here with no complications. You just have three related members instead of just two related members. Just do what you already know.

14 < 2x - 6 < 24   ------ Rearranging the compound inequality
14 + 6 < 2x - 6 + 6 < 24 + 6 ------ Adding 6, throughout
20 < 2x < 30
------- Dividing through by 2
