Question 1024678: How much fruit juice and how much soda water is needed to make a 200 ml of a 20 percent v/v solution
Answer by macston(5194)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
20 percent of 200 ml is 40 ml (0.20*200=40)
.
To make a total of 200 ml with 40 ml fruit juice:
.
200ml-40ml=160ml
.
Add 160 ml soda to 40 ml fruit juice.
.
Some juices would combine with soda water to make less than the added volumes.
We would have to know the acidity of the fruit juice and alkalinity of the soda water to calculate final volume, but that is a chemistry (or physics) question, not a math question.
