A solution contains 12 milliliters of alcohol and 15 milliliters of water. If another solution is to have the same concentration of alcohol in water but is to contain 25 milliliters of water, how much alcohol must it contain?

if both solutions have the same concentration of alcohol in water, then we have a proportion
12 milliliters of alcohol : 15 milliliters of water=x milliliters of alcohol : 25 milliliters of water
