Question 994987: you need a new cell phone for emergencies only. Company A charges $12 per month plus .10 cents a minute. While company B charges .15 cents per minute with no monthly charge. For how many minutes will the monthly cost be the same?
Answer by ryandaherr(1)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Company A = 12+0.1m
Company B = 0.15m
A = B
12+0.1m = 0.15m
12 = 0.05m
m = 12/0.05
m = 240
Check: A = 12+0.1(240) = 36
B = 0.15(240) = 36
