"on the last day of march" so that's March 31st. The next day of course is April first.
"Sandy picks her tomatoes every 5 days. Nancy picks her tomatoes every 6 days"
The LCM of 5 and 6 is 5*6 = 30. The multiplication trick is only possible because 5 and 6 have no factors (other than 1) in common.
Since the LCM is 30, this means that every 30 days, they will be picking their tomatoes on the same day. Thirty days from March 31st is April 30th.
So the next time they pick their tomatoes on the same day is on April 30th
