Hi there,
The square of a number is 195 more
than twice the number.
x^2 = 195 + 2x
Put in ax^2 + bx + c = 0 form.
x^2 - 2x - 195 = 0
Factorise:
(x + 13)(x - 15) = 0
x + 13 = 0
x = -13
x - 15 = 0
x = 15
Either -13 and 15 can be the number
Hope this helps:-)
