You can put this solution on YOUR website! assuming the cost of the boat is the same, regardless of the number of people on the boat, and assuming the boat can hold at least 40 people, then the mathematics figures out as:
40 * 70 = 2800 for the boat.
at 2800 for the boat and 70 dollars per person, then 40 people will be required to cover the cost of the boat.
at 2800 for the boat and 100 dollars per person, then 28 people will be required to cover the cost of the boat.
you basically take the cost of the boat and divided it by the cost per person and that will tell you the number of people required to cover the cost of the boat.
