Separate 65 into two parts such that 3 times the larger will be 6 more than 6 times the smaller.

Let one of the parts be "x"
The other part is "65-x"

Note: We don't know which one is larger and which is smaller.
At this point it doesn't matter.

EQUATION:
3(65-x) = 6x+6
195-3x = 6x+6
9x = 189
x = 21 (the smaller)
65-x = 44 (the larger)
