Question 9303: Can someone please help me on this problem, I don't really understand how to get it?? I need help really fast!!! Thank you so much!
Problem: Kirsten built a rectangular corral with a fence on 3 sides. A side of the barn served as a short side of the corral. Shee used 130 m of fencing. The length of the corral was 20 m longer than the width. Find the deminisons of the corral. Choices for the width: 25, 30, 35.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Take the amount of fencing (130) and subtract 20 m for each longer side (length).
This leaves you with 90 m to divide between the 3 sides = 30 , so the
width is 30 and each longer side is 50m in length
50 (length) + 50 (length) + 30 (width) = 130
