x the first amount
x + (2x-5) + (2x-5 + 5) = 145
5x = 150
x = 30

1st + 2nd + 3rd
30 + 55 + 60 = 145

2nd:: 2x-5
3rd:: 2x-5+5 = 2x

Equation:
x + 2x-5 + 2x = 145
5x = 150
x = $30 (1st's share)
2x-5 = $55 (2nd's share)
2x = $50 (3rd's share)
