Question 905332: at 0 degrees celsius, the volume of a gas is 22 liters. for each degree the temperature T (in degrees celsius) increases, the volume V (in liters) of the gas increases by 2/25.
write an equation that represents the volume of gas in terms of the temperature

Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
v = (2/25)x + 22

when x = 0, the volume is equal to 22.
when x = 1, the volume is equal to 22 + 2/25.
when x = 2, the volume is equal to 22 + 2/25 * 2
etc.

for each degree increase in temperature, the volume is increasing by 2/25 cubic liters.
