Question 904253: Please solve this question for me :
Coffee AM sells chocolate-covered blueberries for $10.95 per pound and chocolate-covered strawberries for $13.95 per pound . the company wants to sell a mix of the two that would sell for $12.95 per pound with no loss in revenue . Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a+b=12,
13.95*a+10.95*b=012.95*12
a=12-b
13.95*(12-b)+10.95*b=15.54
16.74-13.95b+10.95*b=15.54
-0.03*b=-0.12
b=4.0
a=12-b
a=8.0 lb at $13.95 b=4.0 lb at $10.95
check
13.95*8.0+10.95*4.0=12.95*12
11.16+04.38=15.54
15.54=15.54
ok
