Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0.8x+110=0.9x+80
30=0.1x
30/0.1=x
x=300.0
y=0.8*300.0+110
y=0.9*300.0+80
y=350.0
They are equal when there are 300.0 miles x=300.0
They are equal when total cost y=$350.0
