SETTING X=0 & SOLVING FOR Y GIVES YOU ONE SET OF POINTS THUS:
0=-2X+1
2X=1
X=1/2 THIS GIVES US THE FIRST SET(1/2,0)
NOW SET X=0 & SOLVE FOR Y THUS:
Y=-2*0+1
Y=1 THIS GIVE US THE SECOND SET (0,1).
PLOT THESE 2 POINTS & DRAW A LINE THROUGH THEM THUS:
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = -2x +1).
