Question 896440: You have purchased 20 bags of mulch from Lowe's. Each bag says that it contains 2 cubic feet of mulch. You want to mulch a circular area around a newly planted tree so that the layer of mulch has a uniform depth of 3 inches. How big can the mulched area be? That is, what is the radius of the largest circular area that you can mulch?
I tried solving this problem using V=pi(r^2)h, plugging in 40 cu ft for V, 3 in for h and solving for r. I ended up with r=6.47 however I'm unsure if this is even right.

Use h in units of feet, NOT in inches.
