Question 890899: The florist is selling 6 roses for $48,a dozen roses for $84 or a single rose for 8.50.Which is the better deal?

Answer by JulietG(1812)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
$48/6 = $8 per rose
$84/12 = $7 per rose
$8.50 for a single rose
.
The dozen roses seem to be the better deal. I say "seem" because it depends upon what else is included -- is there a vase, flowers such as baby's breath surrounding it, a box, etc? All of those add into the cost.
