if the digits of the two digit number are reversed in such a way that the new number is greater than first by 54.
find the difference between the two digits.
:
Let 10a+b = the number
and
10b+a = the reversed number (new number)
:
(10b+a) - (10a+b) = 54
10b - b - 10a = 54
9b - 9a = 54
simplify, divide by 9
b - a = 6 the difference between the two digits
