Question 888445: At the new grocery store,out of the first 100 customers, every 9th person received a free gallon of milk. Every 6th person received a free box of cereal. How many people out of the 100 receives the milk and the cereal?
P.S. our lesson is getting the GCF or the LCM. And Im not also sure if the word problem is an LCM problem or GCF problem. Thanks!

Every 18th customer will receive both.
18,36,54,72,90
An=18n
100 = 18 + (n - 1)18
100= 18*(1+n-1)
100=18n
100/18=n
50/9=n
5.55=n
n=5
