You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Tom , sitting 5 feet from the seesaw support , balances a friend who weighs 110lbs,and sits 6 ft. from the support. How heavy is tom ?
Let tom's weight be = x lbs
He balances at a distance of 5 ft from the support
His friend's weight = 110 lbs
He balances at a distance of 6 ft from the support
To find Tom's weight , 5*110/6 = 5*55/3 = 275/3 = 91.67 lbs
