Question 885598: if a water park charges six dollars for admission and $1.50 for each ticket and i have thirty six dollars how many tickets can i buy
Answer by indra89811(24)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The initial cost for admission is $ 6.
Cost of each ticket is $1.50. Let x be the no. of tickets bought.
Total cost of tickets = 1.5 x
1.5x + 6 = 30
1.5x=24
x=16
Hence, 16 tickets can be bought in total.
