Of the following, the most nearly accurate set of equivalents is:
A. 1ft. equals 30.48 centimeters B. 1 centimeter equals 2.54 inches
C. 1 rod equals 3.28 meters D. 1 meter equals 1.09 feet

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Of your 4 choices:

A. 1ft. equals 30.48 centimeters --TRUE, since 12*2.54 = 30.48 cm.

B. 1 centimeter equals 2.54 inches FALSE--1 inch = 2.54 cm.

C. 1 rod equals 3.28 meters -- I have no idea!! Do a Google search for "Unit of Measure Rod" and see what you get!

D. 1 meter equals 1.09 feet--FALSE, since a meter is slightly more than a yard (which is 3 feet!)

My answer is A.
