GCF stands for Greatest Common Factor. ie the largest number which divides into each of the numbers which you have.
For these numbers it will be 6 as 6 divides into 6(once), 18(3 times) and 90(15 times). You have found the lowest common multiple which is the lowest number which they will all divide into.
