Question 858244: a photograph measuring 8cm by 6cm is placed in a frame measuring 12cm by 9cm.what is the area of the frame that is not covered by the photograph.
Answer by ramkikk66(644) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area of frame = 12 * 9 = 108 sq cm
Area of photograph = 8 * 6 = 48 sq cm
So the area of frame not covered by photo = 108 - 48 = 60 sq cm.
