Question 854640: John can ride his skateboard 100 feet in 4.6 seconds. How fast is this in miles per hour? Show clearly the path you are taking to convert feet/sec to miles/hour.
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5280 feet = 1 mile
100 feet = 100/5280 miles
3600 seconds = 1 hour
4.6 seconds = 4.6/3600 hours
miles /hour = (100/5280)/(4.6/3600)
=14.82 mph
