Question 849596: A play has two male roles, two female roles and two roles that can be either gender. Only a man can be assigned to a male role, and only a woman can be assigned to a female role. If five men and six women audition, in how many ways can the six roles be assigned?
Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5*4 for the male roles
6*5 for the female roles
after they are assigned
7*6 for the either gender
20+30+42 =92 total ways
or
20*30*42= 25200 total ways
Not sure if you should add them or multiply them.
