Hi,
|Note: x = 2 a factor, 8 + 12 - 8 - 12 = 0
Using synthetic division
2 1 3 -4 -12
2 10 12
1 5 6 0
= (x-2)(x^2 + 5x + 6) = (x-2)(x+3)(x+2)
zeros: -3, -2, 2
