Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the central angle of a circle if the subtending chord is 75% of the radius?
-------
(angle in radians) = (arc length)/(radius)
---------------------------------
angle = (0.75r)/r
---
angle = 0.75 radians = (0.75)(180/pi) = 42.97 degrees
------------
