If Tyrin can paint a house in 4 days, he/she will have painted 1/4 of the house in 1 day.
If Tahjai can paint a house in 5 days, he/she will have painted 1/5 of the house in 1 day.
Add their rates of work together and you get the number of days needed for them to paint the house together:
1/4 + 1/5 = answer
