You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The coroner arrives at the murder scene at 12:00 P.M. She immediately takes the temperature of the body and finds it to de 94.6 degrees. She then takes the temperature 1 hour later and finds it to be 93.4 degrees. The temperature of the room is 70 degrees. When was the murder committed?
------------
Normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees.
Between 12 an 1 o'clock the body's termperature
went down 1.2 degrees.
The difference below normal at 12 is 98.6-94.6 = 4 degrees
-----------
4/1.2=3.3333
-------
Assuming a loss of 1.2 degree per hour that would be the decrease
over 3 (1/3) hrs
---------
Based on that, the murder took place at 8:40AM
