Please help me to solve this:An airplane flying with the wind took 2hours for a 1000 mile flight, and 2 1/2 hours for the return flight. Find the wind velocity and the speed of the airplane in still air.
-----------
Find the 2 groundspeeds.
d = r*t
r = d/t
The plane's airspeed is the average of the 2.
---------
The windspeed is the difference between airspeed and groundspeed.
