A place located to the east would be ahead in time compared to GMT.
Each degree longitude corresponds to 4 min of time difference.
Why? Because around the globe, there are 360 deg longitudes which correspond to
1 day of time or 1440 minutes. So each deg = 1440/360 = 4 minutes.
So 30 degrees east would have a time of 30*4 = 120 min (2 hours) ahead of 6 a.m.
The time at that place is 8 a.m.
Hope you got it :)
