Great,you are on the WRONG track. No you don't subtract. You see, the line that separates the numerator and the denominator of a fraction means to divide.
To get the answer, do 128/800. you see percentage is a number over a denominator which is 100. All you have to do is simplify the fraction over 100. It is now (128/8)/(800/8). So do it and get 16/100. 16% is the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
