Width = x
Length = x +2
x(x + 2) = 48
x^2 + 2x = 48
x^2 + 2x - 48 = 0
(x + 8)(x - 6) = 0
So x = 6 (x = -8 no solution)
Width = 6 feet
Length = 8 feet
