Question 751052: Please help me solve this equation.
The Video Easy rents movies for $3.50 the first day. There is a $1.50 charge for each additional day, d. What is the expression represented in this worded problem.
I have tried it out and go this:
$3.50 + $1.50d
I am not sure if this is right. Please solve it. Thanks :)

Yes your formula is right.
By replacing 'd' with the extra number
of days that you have the video for
multiplies up the extra cost.
Well done!
