Perimeter normally = 2x length = 2 x width
Brian wants length to be twice the width.
Perimeter = 4x + 2x = 6x
6x = 96 feet
x = 16 feet
Therefore length = 32 feet and width 16 feet
Perimeter = 2 x length + 2 x width
2 x 32 + 2 x 16 = 96 feet
