Lets start getting all the apartments to show the total monthly costs
Apartment 1 $700 a month
Apartment 2 $600+40= $640 a month
Apartment 3 $400+400= $800 a month
The most economical apartment would be Apartment 2 because it costs the least at $640 a month total cost.
