Question 733603: Soni purchased $91 worth of sheets at a sale when $1.60 was marked off every article. She returned the sheets when everything was marked at regular price. She received credit for regular prices so she received more than $91 worth of credit. Each sheet was worth a towel and washcloth. Because washcloths cost $2.70 and she needed more washcloths then towels she got 6 more washcloths than towels. She came home with 16 more articles than she originally bought. How many washcloths and towels did she go home with and what would she have paid if she had bought them at sale price.
We are supposed to set this up as a guess and check problem but am struggling to get this started.
