No. A is not an exponent in this problem if, in fact, A represents the initial height. The exponent is the number of bounces, namely
in your problem description.
Personnally, I prefer to use the function name with a subscript of "o" as the initial parameter, but either way, it is the same function.
Plug in your initial height and number of bounces and then do the arithmetic.
