A radioactive substance decays in such a way that the amount of mass remaining after T days is given by the function:
m(T)=8e^(-0.098T) where m(T) is measured in grams.
a.) find the initial mass.
m(0) = 8^e^(0)
m(0) = 8 grams
----------------------
b.) how much of the mass remains after 30 days.
m(30) = 8*e^(-0.098*30) = 8*0.0529
m(30) = 0.4229 grams
