Question 713022: Two trucks leave a depot at approximately the same time and travel the same route. How far apart are the trucks after 3½ hours if their average speeds are 50 miles per hour and 66 miles per hour
Answer by sourbubble(2)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Truck A = 55 miles per hour
Truck B = 66 Miles per hour
Therefore

Truck A = 55 times 3 1/2 = 192,5 miles traveled
Truck B = 66 times 3 1/2 = 231 miles traveled
Therefore the distance between them will be 231 - 192.5 = 38,5 miles
