Hi,

To fill a pool with two pipes (one large cold water pipe, and one smaller hot water pipe) it takes two hours.

If the larger cold water pipe is the only on being used it takes 3 hours. 

How long will it take to fill the pool if using only the hot water pipe?

Translate into an equation: PER hr KEY

     |Multiplying thru by 6x so as all denominators = 1

  2x + 6 = 3x

       6hr = x
