Question 632873: How long would it take light to travel a mole of millimeters? Write your answer in a form like this: 6 years, 4 months, and 13 days. Give your answer in approximate form (within a few days).
I figured out that light travels at a speed of 3x10^8 m/s. I have only dealt with moles regarding the periodic elements and cannot figure out how to transfer that knowledge to this question.

How long would it take light to travel a mole of millimeters? Write your answer in a form like this: 6 years, 4 months, and 13 days. Give your answer in approximate form (within a few days).
--------------
There is no mole of millimeters.
If you mean the number of molecules in a mole,
6.022E23 mms
= 6.022E20 meters
--------
d = r*t
t = d/r = 6.022E20/3E8 seconds
=~ 2.007E12 seconds
------
You can change the units.
