You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Circle Path, Inc. makes bicycles, tricycles, and unicycles. Last week they made 88 more bicycles than unicycles, and 5 times as many tricycles as unicycles. If they made 40 more bicycles than tricycles, how many unicycles did they make?
--------------------
Let number of unicycles be "x"
Then number of bicycles is "x+88"
And number of tricycles is "5x"
-------------
EQUATION:
# tricycles = # bicycles -40
5x=x+88-40
4x=48
x=12 (# of unicycles made)
