Theresa's mom is making her a huge cake for her birthday. She has 42 small candy flowers and 14 large icing flowers. How many pieces can she cut the cake into so that each person gets the same number of small candy flowers and large icing flowers?
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Put the 42 small candles in a circle near the outside of the cake;
and put 14 large candles in a circle near the center of the cake.
Cut the cake into 14 slices, each slice will have 1 large & 42/14 = 3 small
