Question 605300: In dyer need of assistance... PLEASE HELP
A vendor is curious about the number of fruit cups he sells each day at his stand. The number of fruit cups sold over 32 straight days is given below. Build a frequency table with each class having a width of 1.
29, 26, 23, 21, 21, 19, 18, 16, 28, 25, 23, 21, 20, 19, 18, 15, 27, 25, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 15, 27, 24, 22, 21, 20, 19, 16, 15.

To make a frequency table, simply list all the values in one column and their respective counts (or frequencies) right next to each value.

Frequency Table:
ValueFrequency
153
162
170
183
194
203
215
222
232
241
252
261
272
281
291

Note: The third row with 17 in the first column and 0 in the second represents the idea that there are zero occurrences of the value 17.
Now look to the fifth row: 19 in the first column and 4 in the second column tells us that there are 4 instances of the value 19.
You read the other rows in this way.

Also, as a check, adding up the frequencies in the second column should give us 32 (since there are 32 total values). Let's check this

3+2+0+3+4+3+5+2+2+1+2+1+2+1+1 = 32

So this partially verifies the answer.
