First get rid of your fraction, by multiplying both sides of your equation by 60 ( your LCD for 3, 5, and 12 ) 60(2/3x+1/5x)=(x-5/12)60 ---> 40x+12x=60x-25 ---> 52x=60x-25 ---> -8x=-25 ---> x=25/8 I hope this helps you out!? Your math friend, Terry ( cats7051@yahoo.com )
