to solve this problem you must calculate the total amount of expenses. Then you have to calculate the amount of profit you have to make to equal those expenses.
Expenses.
$30.00 for a table at the fair
$300.00 profit to be made.
Total expenses=$330.00
We can ignore the cost to print the posters by factoring out the cost of printing with the sale price.
$5 per poster-$2 printing fee= $3 profit per poster.
Now you take the total expenses and divide them by the profit made on each poster and it will equal the total amount of posters that need to be sold.
$330/$3=110 posters.
